It’s honoring the magical fact that there are 7.8 billion people in this world and we exist in an ever- expanding universe and somehow your two souls made their way to each other at this exact moment in space and time. It’s telling the story of all the little details that had to fall into place to create this butterfly effect called your love story.
It’s more than just a wedding video.
My art is to document authentic moments in a creative way that doesn’t involve you taking acting lessons or feeling the pressure of a camera in your face. My intention is for your experience to feel raw and true and for you to feel present in each moment of your day. My intention is for you to fully feel every emotion that arises and that this film is simply a way to transport you back to that exact feeling so that you never forget this day or the power of your love.
And most of the time, I really am just observing and waiting for genuine moments to unfold. While this film will be beautifully cinematic and feel like a movie, you two are not actors and I do not want you to act because it won’t feel authentic.
My approach centers around helping you practice presence throughout every moment of this day that will move too quickly. I use prompts that are meant to help you be mindful of the moment. I might say things like, "Close your eyes and tune into this moment with your person." Or, "Fall into each other however you naturally would at home when no one else is around." Or, "Focus fully on the love you have for each other. Don't think about anyone or anything else, just the magic of the love you have for each other."
My first priority is to make sure you two are fully engaged in your day.

A. It all depends on what moments are most important to you. Eight hours of coverage is most popular to document a decent amount of getting ready and dancing. Six hours is recommended for more intimate weddings. Ten hours is often recommended for wedding days with location changes and for couples looking to document from getting ready to an end of the night send off.

A. The video length depends on how long it takes me to fit in the big moments. I won’t leave anything out for the sake of fitting under a certain time. In general my style is more long form and my films tend to be anywhere from 7-15 minutes. However, you get a say in your preference! If you prefer shorter, we can do that for you.
